2025 A Year in the Arts

Looking Ahead: 2025 Event Calendar + New Work in the Studio

I’m so excited to share my 2025 lineup of shows and events—and even more excited to finally say that brand new work will be debuting at every single one of them.

This year, I’m diving deep into assemblage, experimenting with layered materials, found objects, and textures that hold stories and contradictions. These new pieces feel raw, emotional, and more tactile than ever. It’s been incredibly rewarding to push my practice in this direction—and I can’t wait to share what’s been happening in the studio.

Here’s where you’ll be able to see my work out in the world this year:

2025 Calendar of Events

June 27 – Side Quest Stage, Bainbridge Island Artist Reception | 5–9 PMA relaxed evening with art, cocktails, and community. I’ll be showing a brand-new series of moody abstract works in one of the most atmospheric spaces on the island.

August 8–10 – Bainbridge Island Studio Tour Showing at Elizabeth VanDuine’s Studio | 10 AM–6 PM daily. I’m thrilled to be part of this iconic summer tour! This is a great chance to explore the island, meet local artists, and get an intimate look at what’s coming out of my studio this season.

September 13 – Port Orchard Night Market LIVE Painting at the Historic Polaris Theater | 5–9 PM This is a big one—my first-ever public live painting event. I’ll be working in my signature layered abstract style in real time, in a historic theater turned pop-up art space. Come for the art, stay for the music and market vibes!

🖤 October 11 – Belltown Art Walk, Seattle Magpie Mouse Studios | 6–9 PM I’ll be leaning into spooky season with some extra moody pieces for this special October edition of the Belltown Art Walk. Expect shadowy collage, mysterious textures, and autumn energy.

November 6–23 – Featured Artist at Tea Alchemy & Gilded Exchange, Port OrchardArtist Meet & Greet: November 8 | 2–6 PMMy final local show of the year! I’m so honored to have my work featured in this magical shop full of handmade goods, vintage finds, and alchemical tea. Come say hello on Nov 8 during an open house style meet-and-greet.

June 3–21 – Collage Notes II with Paris Collage Collective Centre Anim’ Rachid Taha, Paris, France I’m honored to share that I’m one of over 400 artists featured in Collage Notes II, an international group exhibition hosted by the Paris Collage Collective. This show brings together postcard-sized collages from around the world, each paired with a personal note about the meaning of art and creativity. It’s a celebration of connection, expression, and the power of small formats to hold big ideas.

The exhibition runs from June 3 to 21, 2025, at Centre Anim’ Rachid Taha in Paris, with a special closing event on June 20 at 7 PM. If you’re in Paris, I hope you’ll stop by and experience this beautiful convergence of global voices through collage.

Thank you for supporting my work, showing up for the arts, and making this weird, wonderful journey possible.

See you out there.

-Dani
